Siruvani - A beautiful place to see!

Most of us may have heard about the beautiful place called Siruvani, which is near mannarkkad in Palakkad District, Kerala. This nature friendly place is on the banks of Siruvani River . You can see Banan Fort and Siruvani dam. It is only 25 kms from coimbatore city. Siruvani Dam caters exclusively to the drinking water needs of Coimbatore city, in Tamilnadu. The dam is deep inside the Singappara reserve forest.

There is a small Tourist bungalow named Pattiyar Bungalow, deep inside the forest on the banks of the Siruvani reservoir, facing the Muthikkulam falls. It can be booked through the Forest Department office. I personally havent been there yet, but has gathered these informations from here and there, but planning to visit that place during my next vacation.
